2017 Annual Clinical Meeting Dates and Location Announced

The Board of Directors of the Society of OB/GYN Hospitalists is excited to announce the 2017 Annual Clinical Meeting:

September 24-27, 2017
The Roosevelt Hotel
New Orleans, LA

This marks the 7th annual conference hosted by SOGH, which will include classes, lectures, panel discussions, simulations, surgical skills stations, and various networking opportunities for attendees.  Additional details will be uploaded to the Annual Conference page as it is confirmed

Toni Capra Hired as New Executive Director

SOGH would like to extend a warm welcome to our new Executive Director, Ms. Toni Capra. After an extensive search, Toni was appointed SOGH’s first independent Executive Director. Toni has a remarkable and varied twenty-year career working in the social sector, where she specialized in nonprofit management, strategic planning, governance, and board development. She served in key strategic roles at Houston Grand Opera, WNET New York PBS, and the U.S. Tennis Association.  In addition, she consulted on a number of high-profile projects for organizations including Theater District Houston, Public Television Rocks – The Police One Night Only at Madison Square Garden, and The John Lennon Educational Tour Bus.

Toni holds a bachelor’s degree in vocal performance from Howard Payne University, and a master’s degree in nonprofit management from The New School in New York City. In addition, she is a BoardSource Certified Governance Trainer.

Toni will be working closely with the SOGH Board to strengthen SOGH so the organization may better serve the diverse needs of our members. We are excited to have Toni on board!
