SOGH Core Competencies Task Force (CCTF)

Purpose

The Society of OB/GYN Hospitalists (“SOGH”) Core Competencies Task Force (CCTF) is created to exist for the period of the Vision 2020 Strategic Plan. The CCTF shall work under the supervision of the Core Competencies Leadership Committee and is responsible for the following key objectives and timeline:

  • Develop a list of curriculum topics to serve as the basis for content development
  • Designate the CCTF Editorial Board, by December 2017, that will:
    • Review and interpret surveys;
    • Make the final list of core competencies topics;
    • Solicit authors;
    • Take the lead in revising chapters; and
    • Prepare the final Core Competencies document for SOGH Board approval.
  • Design and conduct a content survey of SOGH membership, by January 2018
  • Determine deadlines, then supervise and support the authors assigned to developing core competencies content, May – September 2018
  • CCTF Editorial Board Review and Revisions, September 2018 – May 2019
  • Authors Review, June – September 2019
  • SOGH Internal Review, September – December 2019
  • External Review, January – April 2020
  • Editorial Board Final Revisions, April – July 2020
